Crewel & Unusual – One Day Workshop

New ways of combining crewel work with an array of Indian edging stitches and Shisha; introducing silk and wool, to produce beautiful and decorative finishes.

Working on silk with applied blanket felts, you will use tapestry wools and perles.

This traditional form of stitching is transposed onto contemporary fabric and designs.  The designs can come from anywhere so do not hesitate to bring an idea with you.  The workshop delves into all traditional forms of stitching from Europe to India and China.
